Sachiko also brings a bicultural perspective to her work as a Hawaii Kai Realtor, enabling clients from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland and Asia to work comfortably with her. Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, she earned a BA in English Literature from Kobe College, one of Japan’s oldest and most prestigious colleges for women.
Soon after she entered the Hawaii Real Estate field, she was hand-picked for the Ala Moana Hotel Condominium sales team by Penny Bradley, one of the founders of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, Hawaii’s largest real estate company. The experience Sachiko gained on that team has proven invaluable in assisting her clients. “They find me very helpful in explaining all the documents and shepherding them through the process,” she says.
Afterwards, Sachiko was the Top Salesperson for LIST Sotheby's International Realty her first year, selling 31 units (15% of all the units) in One Ala Moana premeire luxury condominium to Japanese clients. She quickly rose to become Broker-In-Charge and Director of Business Development. While strong client service is a pillar of Sachiko’s success – she ranked among the top 1 percent of real estate agents in Honolulu less than two years after receiving her Realtor license – she rests neither upon this gift, nor upon all the experience she has gained. Instead, she works tirelessly to strengthen her professional knowledge, earning several key credentials – Realtor® (the broker’s license that allows her to display the initial “R” after her name), e-PRO (Expert in Internet Marketing), CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute).
In 2017, she has started her Hawaii Real Estate company, Blue Bunny Hawaii Realty LLC. She started this company to provide more personable services to selected clients. She enjoys working more closely with each client.
